This year is no exception and, during the first weekend of the Festival, there was a Field System “takeover” at the Old Dissenting Meeting House, on their first visit to Sidmouth. Field System was founded by Mark Jessett and Milly Brown and is a shop, gallery, and print workshop located in Ashburton on the edge of Dartmoor. The Gallery offers folk-inspired art and objects with the aim of increasing accessibility and levelling the playing field for those feeling marginalised from the established Art World.
