The longtime chairman of the Jedec standards body, Mian Quddus, is to receive the 2026 FMS Lifetime Achievement Award tomorrow. The award will be presented to Mr. Quddus, pictured, at an event in Santa Clara, California on Tuesday 4 August. “On behalf of the entire JEDEC community, we congratulate Mian on this well-deserved recognition,” said John Kelly, JEDEC President. And during his 22-year tenure, Jedec highlights, he has advanced open standards for cloud computing, AI, mobile devices, automotive electronics, and high-performance computing. This is its newest main committee, which is focused on standards for reliability, testing, and parametrics of WBG power semiconductors.
