Power was restored Saturday evening after an outage left hundreds of Evergy customers in south Maryville without electricity for about 90 minutes. Evergy says the outage, which began late Saturday afternoon, was caused by an equipment failure. The largest impact was south of Highway V near the Mosaic campus and Maryville Middle School, where more than 380 customers lost power.
