The suspect was handed over to Torit County authorities on Saturday during a peace and security engagement visit by county officials to Omorwo Village. Torit County Caretaker Commissioner Eddy William Ponsiano confirmed the arrest, saying the suspect was allegedly involved in the killing of a man identified as Albano, a resident of Pacidi Payam in Lafon County. He explained that Albano had travelled from Torit Town to Omorwo Village, where he spent the night before proceeding toward his home area in Pacidi Payam, Lafon County. The arrest is the latest in a series of security operations led by Torit County authorities under caretaker Commissioner Eddy William Ponsiano. This marks the fifth time he has overseen the arrest of suspected killers in Torit County since taking office, describing it as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen law enforcement and community security.
