The tenth edition of the Monyiemiji Football Tournament Final will be held in the Eastern Equatoria State capital, Torit, on Saturday 8 August 2026, following a successful engagement between the leadership of the Monyiemiji Football Association (MFA) and the state government regarding preparations, logistics, and financial support. He explained that preparations for hosting the tournament started months ago, following a commitment by the state government to bring the final game to Torit, the home of the Monyiemiji Tournament Association. The presence of the Monyiemiji Tournament management is to seal that commitment,” Minister Mboya stated. The Monyiemiji Football Tournament has grown into one of the most popular community sporting events in Eastern Equatoria State. With preparations now finalized, all eyes are set on Torit Freedom Square on 8 August 2026 for the historic Monyiemiji Tournament 10th Edition Final.
