EUNAVFOR MED IRINI forces have conducted an inspection in international waters of the tanker Toa Payoh, which is subject to European Union sanctions and recognised as a vessel of the Russian „shadow fleet”. A Polish M28 Bryza B1R patrol aircraft from the Polish Military Contingent (PMC) IRINI participated in the operation. 🇵🇱 M28 Bryza B1R Polskiego Kontyngentu Wojskowego IRINI wsparła z powietrza działania sił @EUNAVFOR_MED podczas kontroli tankowca objętego sankcjami Unii Europejskiej. The inspection, aimed at verifying the vessel’s nationality and the legality of its flag, lasted approximately two hours and concluded without incident. A Greek surface vessel also participated in the operations.
