A legal expert shared a sobering prediction on Sunday as the Supreme Court prepares to rule on one of President Donald Trump's most recent appeals. The Supreme Court may rule on that appeal this week from the shadow docket, argued Joyce Vance, a former federal prosecutor, in a new Substack essay. Trump filed the appeal less than 100 days before the midterm elections, which Vance argued means he is growing increasingly concerned about losing power. "However the Court rules, the fact that we are even here is the ultimate criticism of this administration," Vance wrote. Donald Trump is deathly afraid of what that means."
