Home extensionPlans for a single-storey side extension and a hip-to-gable loft conversion at a semi-detached property in Penarth have been granted.
The proposed side extension will be set at an angle to the existing home, while the dormer will be set back approximately 30 centimetres from the rear elevation.
Tree removalApproval has been granted to remove two Leyland Cypress pine trees from the front of a property on Victoria Road within the Penarth Conservation Area.
The first, around 9 metres tall, is only 2 metres from the front door and has reportedly damaged walls and the door frame.
The second, approximately 6 metres tall and 4 metres from the entrance, is believed to be affecting the building and a Victorian stone path.
