The Mavericks and forward Naji Marshall have finalized a multiyear contract extension, the team announced in a press release. “Naji has earned this opportunity through the way he approaches the game every day,” said Mavericks president Masai Ujiri. According to Shams Charania of ESPN (Twitter link), Marshall received a three-year, $52.2MM deal to remain in Dallas. The former Xavier standout, who went undrafted in 2020, will earn $9.4MM in 2026/27 before his three-year extension kicks in during the ’27/28 league year. Marshall spent his first four NBA seasons with New Orleans prior to signing a three-year, $27MM contract with Dallas as a free agent in the 2024 offseason.
