Naji Marshall‘s three-year extension with the Mavericks will pay him $18.2MM in the 2027/28 season before declining over the next two seasons, to $17.3MM in 2028/29 and $16.7MM in 2029/30 (Twitter link). Because the first year of the deal won’t exceed 120% of this year’s estimated average salary and the year-to-year salaries won’t decline by more than 5%, Marshall will remain trade-eligible moving forward, Yossi Gozlan of The Third Apron notes (via Twitter). Exceeding either of those figures would have triggered a six-month trade restriction.
