Turkmenistan has reaffirmed its focus on attracting international investment for major energy projects, including the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline. Reports were presented by the heads of Turkmennebit, Turkmengaz, Turkmengeology and TAPI Pipeline Company Ltd., as well as executives of sectoral associations and enterprises. Turkmenistan has consistently presented foreign investment as a key element of its long-term energy strategy. He also noted that foreign investment accounted for about 10 percent of the country's economy at the end of 2025. To note, international investment has already featured prominently in discussions around TAPI this year.
