Kazakhstan Electricity and Power Market Operator (KOREM) has launched a new digital portal designed to provide market participants, government agencies and experts with access to analytical data and interactive statistics on the country’s electricity market. The new online resource includes the KOREM Information Portal, a digital analytical platform that combines market statistics, monitoring tools and data visualization capabilities related to the company’s operations. The launch is part of KOREM’s Development Strategy for 2025–2035, which focuses on introducing innovative solutions, digitalizing processes and improving interaction with electricity market participants. It also provides data on imbalance electricity trading, including types and costs of imbalances, balancing zones, operations with neighboring countries and hourly volumes of balancing electricity. KOREM is responsible for organizing and operating Kazakhstan’s electricity and capacity markets, including centralized electricity trading and balancing mechanisms.
