— In a rematch of the 2025 state championship final, Dell Rapids stayed in contention to defend its title, clipping Parkston 9-7 in a Class B American Legion state tournament elimination bracket contest on Sunday at Flynn Field. Parkston held a one-run lead through four innings, but it wasn’t quite enough to repel Dells. Similarly, Parkston starter Wyatt Anderson was chased after recording two outs, as Dell Rapids erupted for a five-run first inning.
