Australia’s stock market recovered from early falls, as US President Donald Trump said he cancelled “the “biggest attack since World War II” on Iran, easing fears of further oil related spike in inflation.
Brent crude oil futures were down 5.3 per cent at $US83.26 a barrel after initially falling to $US81.55.
They knew the extent of the attack because they saw it forming,” Mr Trump told reporters on Sunday aboard Air Force One.
Camera Icon Fuel prices fell after the US President walked away from the new wave of attacks on Iran.
Steadfast Group jumped 2.94 per cent to $5.26 after updating the market about a KKR-led consortium looking to buy the business.
