It is now looking increasingly likely that Donald Trump will visit West Clare next month. The Irish Open At Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg starts on Wednesday, September 9 and concludes on Sunday, September 13. The Press Association is reporting that the President is expected to visit Ireland for at least two days in September, to include West Clare and Dublin. The Clare Champion first reported in February that the President was earmarked to visit Doonbeg in September. Speaking at the time, Managing Director Of Trump Doonbeg, John Russell said a visit was looking likely.
