QPR legend Charlie Austin has revealed he had been interviewed for a role in the club’s academy, but has not progressed to the next stage of the process.
QPR’s former star Charlie Austin might be 37, but he’s still playing semi-professional football with Hungerford Town.
It seems the striker has an eye on the next chapter though, and that could see him enter the coaching world.
Austin will have expertise to pass down to young players, strikers and centre-backs especially.
Time will tell what the coaching world has in store for Austin.
