Aberdeen bar and restaurant closes after almost a decade in city centre

An Aberdeen city-centre bar and restaurant has closed its doors after almost a decade in business. The City Bar and Diner welcomed the final customers to its Netherkirkgate venue at the end of last week. In a post shared on social media on Saturday, the owners wrote: “For those of you who don’t know, The City Bar and Diner is now permanently closed. The City Bar and Diner says goodbye to customersThe message is signed off by head chef Dave Anderson, alongside his wife Jacqui Anderson. Head chef Dave opened The City Bar and Diner after decades of work in the industry, starting at The Windsor Hotel in Nairn.
