GT World Challenge team fined $4100 for forgotten laptop

Tresor Attempto Racing was fined 2500 euros ($4100 AUD) for leaving the laptop on the car, which fell off during the warm-up lap.
“A laptop computer belonging to the Competitor was left on top of Car 99 during the starting procedure,” stewards said in their report.
“As the car departed the grid for the formation lap, the laptop was dislodged and thrown into the air, creating a dangerous situation on the grid.
GT World Challenge Europe resumes on August 28-30 at Germany’s iconic Nurburgring.
