Patna/New Delhi: Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor, who made his electoral debut in the bypoll in Bankipur, is leading by more than 2,000 votes as per trends released by the Election Commission of India (ECI) till 11.30am. BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha is trailing in the seat. The contest for the seat has turned out to be a three-cornered fight involving the BJP, Jan Suraaj Party and the RJD. The main contest in Datia is between BJP candidate Ashutosh Tiwari and Congress nominee Ghanshyam Singh. The Manjalpur bypoll was necessitated following the death of BJP MLA and former Gujarat minister Yogesh Patel.
