A long-awaited breakthrough has been made on plans for a new GP surgery and health centre for Didcot’s Great Western Park following years of delays. Although approving of the update, MP for Didcot and Wantage Mr Glover said more work is still needed to deliver on long-standing promises. He said: "It is hugely frustrating that residents in Great Western Park are still waiting for the GP surgery that was promised years ago. "The new surgery will relieve increasing pressure on surrounding surgeries and help improve access medical services for Didcot and the surrounding villages. "The progress announced today is a welcome step forward, but of course there is a lot of catching up to do in ensuring this GP surgery to serve Didcot’s growing population is realised.
