The owner of renowned vinyl retailer Assai Records has spoken of the difficulties he faced finding a premises in Aberdeen city centre.
Keith Ingram opened his fourth record store on Back Wynd last November after a lengthy search for the “right site”.
“We are taking time to get established in the city, like any new business, but there is good demand already.”
Because the Aberdeen city centre unit had been empty for more than six months, Assai Records was exempt from business rates for a year.
Keith opened his first record store in Broughty Ferry in 2015 and over the last decade has expanded to Dundee city centre, Edinburgh, Glasgow and now Aberdeen.
