Former Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, Usman Mohammed, has revealed why there is no stable electricity supply in Nigeria.
According to him, the country’s electricity challenges have persisted because the Nigerian government has made mistakes and continued in the same direction.
He said the Federal Government had put incompetent people in charge of managing the power sector, while corruption was another reason the country’s electricity supply challenges have persisted.
He noted that although former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration had good intentions to tackle the power sector’s challenges, its efforts hit a brick wall.
“The problem in the power sector has not been solved because we have made mistakes and continue to make mistakes.
