TransCo files for higher feed-in tariff charge for 2027

STATE-RUN National Transmission Corp. (TransCo) is seeking approval from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to increase the feed-in tariff allowance (FIT-All) charged to electricity consumers next year to continue supporting renewable energy (RE) producers.
In an application filed with the ERC, TransCo proposed a FIT-All rate of P0.2154 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for 2027, up from the current P0.2011 per kWh.
FIT-All is a uniform charge collected from on-grid electricity consumers to support eligible renewable energy technologies.
TransCo administers FIT-All collections and is responsible for filing annual applications with the ERC to determine the rate.
The proposed increase is primarily driven by higher funding requirements for the feed-in tariff differential and the working capital allowance.
