PETALING JAYA : Amanah has questioned Barisan Nasional’s commitment to the unity government following BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s announcement the coalition would continue to work with Perikatan Nasional ahead of the Melaka state election.
“If BN remains committed to the unity government, explain how electoral cooperation with PN is consistent with that commitment.
However, he said, BN’s cooperation with PN risked sending confusing signals to the public, investors and civil servants by creating uncertainty over the unity government’s cohesion.
BN is part of the unity government led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the chairman of Pakatan Harapan.
