Local news, sports, weather presented by the WDIO News TeamAccording to the Duluth Police Department, around 10PM on Saturday, officers responded to 400 Canal Park Drive in Duluth to the report of people putting soap in the “Fountain of the Wind.” Squads blocked off the surrounding area, including the roadway and sidewalks. They also put up markings to alert the public of the hazard. The city plumber was called in to shut off the water to the fountain until the soapy water and suds could be cleaned up. The Duluth Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
