Rebecca Sanderson has resigned from the Lynchburg-Clay Local Schools Board of Education, effective immediately, according to a letter submitted to the Board on July 28. Sanderson said the decision came down to time, not commitment. I do not want to simply hold a position or attend meetings; I want to be prepared, engaged, informed and able to give the responsibility the attention it deserves,” Sanderson wrote. “I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve Lynchburg-Clay,” Sanderson wrote. The Lynchburg-Clay Board of Education thanks Sanderson for her service and will begin the process of filling the vacant seat in accordance with Ohio law.
