Calling for Data Center Clarity
[]
WRBI Radio
(Decatur County, IN) – The Decatur County Democratic Central Committee says it wants greater transparency when it comes to data center discussions in the Greensburg area.
Party leaders say recent discussions have generated significant public interest but have left many residents with more questions than answers.
Supporters of data centers say they provide essential digital infrastructure, create jobs and tax revenue, and they are viewed as vital to American competitiveness.
Communities across Indiana are taking time to evaluate data center development before moving forward, and Decatur County should do the same,” Decatur County Democratic Central Committee members wrote in a statement.
“The people of Decatur County deserve clear information, meaningful public input, and decisions that reflect the long-term interests of our community.”
