Chery International has hit 20 million cumulative global vehicle sales, and if you haven’t been paying attention to the automotive world lately, this might come as a shock. Founded in 1997, Chery International went from being a domestic Chinese manufacturer to becoming one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive groups. They didn’t mess around, by 2007, they’d already become the first Chinese automotive brand to surpass one million cumulative vehicle sales. In the first half of 2026 alone, Chery International exported 943,800 vehicles worldwide, achieving a staggering 71.5% year-on-year growth. Looking ahead, Chery International shows no signs of slowing down.
