Search on for missing kayakers near Washington IslandMultiple agencies are searching for two kayakers who went missing near Wickman Drive on Washington Island Saturday night. Washington Island police, fire and ambulance personnel were called to the area at approximately 6:50 p.m. Emergency personnel were told the two missing kayakers went out without life jackets. Crews conducted their own search operations until nearly 10 p.m. Washington Island Police Chief Gary Schultz says search operations will continue until further notice.
