West Virginia (2-4, 0-3) lost its third straight game, all by at least two touchdowns. Diore Hubbard drew West Virginia within 21-10 on a 3-yard scoring jaunt 1:58 before halftime. Backup quarterback Scotty Fox Jr. found Cam Vaughn for a 29-yard touchdown pass with 1:14 left for West Virginia to finish off the scoring.
