In a recent article for The Athletic, Patrick Mooney and Sahadev Sharma named Adrian Morejon, Luke Weaver, and Jeff Hoffman as three relievers who the Cubs have on their radar. This is after he had a 13-6 record, a 2.08 ERA, and 70 strikeouts in 75 appearances as an All-Star in 2025. As for Hoffman, he has a 6-7 record, a 3.94 ERA, and 75 strikeouts in 51 games for the Toronto Blue Jays this season.
