The widow of Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek has said she is “eternally grateful” on what would have been their 16th wedding anniversary. The actor, known for starring in US teen drama Dawson’s Creek, died on February 11 after suffering from bowel cancer. On Sunday, his wife Kimberly Van Der Beek marked their wedding anniversary on Instagram, paying tribute to her late husband and how he “continues to be present and guide” her and their six children. Van Der Beek shared several selfies of herself and her husband in the post, as well as one of them hugging their children. Van Der Beek rose to fame playing Dawson Leery in Dawson’s Creek, which also starred Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.
