A Nelsonite who should not have been driving was caught doing so by police, recording as impaired through an approved screening device. Through a records check the officer confirmed that the registered owner of the vehicle had an active three-month prohibition service notice at which point the officer pulled the driver over. “An immediate day impaired prohibition was issued, and the vehicle was towed and impounded.
