UPDATE: 2:10 p.m.Osoyoos Fire Rescue says its been engaged in briefings with the Washington State fire response for the Sinlahekin Fire. "Beginning today, and along with representatives from the RDOS and BC Wildfire Service, we began attending incident briefings given by the Incident Management Team overseeing this fire." The Washington State wildfires burning south of Osoyoos has prompted evacuation orders near Oroville, causing a red haze to be seen from the South Okanagan. Osoyoos Fire Rescue said it is continuing to work with the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen and BC Wildfire Service in monitoring conditions.
