The Trenton Acadians Junior Legion Baseball Team beat the Fairfield PAL 4-0 on Saturday, August 1st in their 1st game of the double-elimination Maine American Legion Baseball Junior Legion State Tournament at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor. Brayden Pooler, Spencer Young, Charlie Sullivan, Noah Grindal and Max Eckenfelder each singled for the Acadians. The Acadians stole 5 bases with Pooler, Grindal, Gentry Cox and Spencer and Wyatt Young each stealing a base. Fairfield PAL was eliminated from the tournament, losing 6-1 to the Central Maine Hurricanes Saturday night. The Acadians will play the Hammond Lumber Riverhawks White Team on Sunday, August 2nd at 1 p.m. at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.
