The Hopkinsville Community College Foundation successfully hosted its 35th annual Mike Foster Golf Scramble on Friday, raising funds for students. The event at the Hopkinsville Golf & Country Club was sold out for the seventh consecutive year, with 30 teams and over 90 sponsors. HCC Foundation Executive Director Rena Young noted that fundraising efforts this year alone enabled the Foundation to award 40 students with $1,000 textbook scholarships. The scramble is named for Mike Foster, an HCC alumnus and long-time supporter, who played in and co-chaired this year’s event. The HCC Foundation has already announced next year’s date, October 2, 2026.
