Taiz – A Yemeni woman was seriously injured Friday after being shot by a sniper belonging to the Houthi militia in the western countryside of Taiz governorate. Local sources identified the victim as 35‑year‑old Fouzia Hassan Ahmed Ahmed, who was tending sheep in the village of Al‑Kubb, Al‑Qahifa area, when she came under fire from Houthi snipers positioned on Jabal Atif.
