The event, which will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2166, 2001 W. Elk Ave., is sponsored by the VFW and American Legion Watauga Post 49. Tickets are free and can be picked up at either of the following locations:The County Veterans Services Office at the Carter County Courthouse, 801 E. Elk Ave. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2166, 2001 W. Elk Ave. These can be dropped off at the VFW post when they pick up their tickets.
