Dickinson's Sustainability Achievements Receive Repeat Recognitionby Craig LayneFor four years in a row, Dickinson has earned the top position among baccalaureate institutions in the prestigious Sustainable Campus Index, a publication of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). This is the eighth consecutive year Dickinson has been recognized as a top performer. “Sustainability is a key facet of education and everyday life at Dickinson,” says Neil Leary, associate provost and director of the Center for Sustainability Education. Dickinson maintains a STARS Gold Rating. “On behalf of all of us at AASHE, I congratulate Dickinson for its recognition as a Top Performer in the 2025 Sustainable Campus Index,” says AASHE’s executive director, Meghan Fay Zahniser.
