The Department of Higher Education (DoHE), Ministry of Education, will actively participate in Special Campaign 5.0, being organized by the Government of India from 2nd to 31st October 2025. The campaign aims to promote Swachhata (cleanliness) across government offices and autonomous organizations while reducing pendency of matters and improving workplace efficiency in centrally funded Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). He urged stakeholders to take proactive measures to ensure the success of Special Campaign 5.0, with a vision to surpass the achievements of previous editions. In Special Campaign 4.0, DoHE achieved significant milestones:Resolved 84% of public grievances (564 of 665 cases) and 81% of grievance appeals (112 of 138 cases). Building on these achievements, DoHE is determined to make Special Campaign 5.0 a bigger success, fostering cleaner campuses, efficient governance, and sustainable practices across India’s higher education ecosystem.
