(Photo Credit: Kohima College)Kohima, August 2 (MExN): Kohima College on Saturday celebrated its 57th Freshers' Day under the theme "New Beginnings, Endless Possibilities", welcoming 779 newly admitted students and encouraging them to develop skills, leadership qualities and social responsibility. The gathering was also addressed by All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) President Kivika Yeptho. As part of the programme, the newly elected Kohima College Students' Council (KCSC) executive for the 2026-27 session was inducted by Medoseno Thapo, Assistant Professor and Secretary of the Student Welfare Committee. The programme concluded with the crowning of Kesanelie of the Political Science Department as Mr Freshers Kohima College 2026 and Lochumlo of the History Department as Miss Freshers Kohima College 2026, followed by a vote of thanks, benediction and refreshments.
