Another activist federal judge, in this case an Obama-appointed judge, just blocked President Trump from ending Temporary Protected Status for Somalians in the US. This despite the Supreme Court ruling that lower courts generally cannot block DHS ending TPS. Plaintiffs argue that deprived Somali TPS holders of fair process under the Fifth Amendment’s Due Process Clause.
