A routine baggage screening at an Alabama airport sparked an explosive scare when TSA officers discovered stolen historical artifacts inside a passenger's bag.
TSA officers at an Alabama airport discovered five Civil War-era cannonballs during a routine baggage screening on July 18.
Supervisory TSA Officer Richard Cash, pictured at right, said the discovery marked his first encounter with a potentially live explosive at the airport.
(TSA JKA)Dupree, who's been a TSA officer for about four years, said he had "never seen anything quite this unique."
"It was my first time dealing with a potentially live explosive."
