Roars of applause for Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson started well before he caught a clean ball from quarterback Kyler Murray on a crossing route early in the team's first 11-on-11 period in front of fans Saturday afternoon at training camp. Friday's rainstorms burned off into the perfect weather Saturday for the first day Vikings fans were welcome at TCO Performance Center in Eagan to take in the sights and sounds of training camp. "The energy out here will be outstanding," Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said just before fans were let in to the practice area to start claiming seats. The stands at TCO Performance Center were packed Saturday for the first open practice of Vikings training camp for fans. Saturday was the most notable day of practice for Jefferson so far after a slow start to camp.
