Danville, Ky. - DePauw field hockey dropped a 4-2 decision to Bridgewater (Va.) on Saturday afternoon. Bridgewater came out strong, opening the scoring less than two minutes into the game. The Eagles doubled their lead in the second quarter to lengthen their lead 2-0. DePauw proceeded to apply pressure in the third quarter with multiple penalty corners, but Bridgewater counteracted with a third and fourth goal to reignite their lead 4-1. The Tigers were outshot 15-11, with DePauw claiming four shots on goal.
