The Ukrainian president posted a video of a burning carriage apparently hit in the strike, surrounded by shattered glass and splintered iron. Emergency services are at the scene of the strike in the city of Shostka and have begun tending to the wounded, Mr Zelensky said. Moscow has escalated its attacks against Ukrainian rail infrastructure after boosting production of its drone systems. Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, the head of the Ukrainian railways, told Reuters last week that dozens of railway substations had been hit.
