Ipswich Borough Council approved the plan in 2011 to build a home on the site of the lockup garages at the rear of 12 Fonnereau Road. An application to make variations to the conditions applied has now been sent to the council to "revive" the proposal. The site was previously unoccupied demolished garages to the rear of 12 Fonnereau Road, accessed along Bridleway. Originally, the application was for the erection of new two-storey detached four bedroom dwelling with integral garage. The new application states it "seeks to revive permission for a proposal formerly approved".
