Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain voiced her disappointment over an incorrect map of India displayed on napkins at a restaurant in Glasgow. After the boxing events ended, members of the Indian contingent visited Mr. Singh’s India, an Indian restaurant in Glasgow, to celebrate their performances. During the dinner, the athletes noticed that the map of India printed on the restaurant’s napkins reportedly did not include the Northeast region. Lovlina reportedly expressed her concern over the incomplete map and said that India’s map should always be represented correctly. Despite the disappointment, she praised her fellow Indian boxers, who helped India enjoy one of its most successful boxing campaigns at the Games.
