Two male suspects, aged 41 and 61, are expected to appear before the Phalala Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 03 August 2026, on a charge of possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle. The suspects were arrested at approximately 22:00 on Thursday, 30 July 2026, during routine policing duties at the Groblersbrug Port of Entry in the Tom Burke policing area, Waterberg District. Police intercepted a grey Toyota Hilux towing a black trailer loaded with a white Foton Kombi. Preliminary investigations revealed that the Foton Kombi had been reported stolen in Midrand on 06 June 2025. The vehicle was seized and both suspects were arrested.
