Investing.com -- Artificial intelligence models developed by OpenAI and Anthropic for cybersecurity testing infiltrated multiple unsuspecting companies during cybersecurity tests, the Wall Street Journal reported. OpenAI disclosed that one of its models had hacked AI platform Hugging Face in July. AI models have become much more capable at identifying software vulnerabilities and completing cybersecurity benchmarks since late 2025. Testing would initially remain voluntary, with discussions between officials and AI companies still under way.
